Alone, we are strong. Together, we are unstoppable. Join us in the battle against breast cancer!
Many of us have family members or friends who have battled breast cancer, maybe even ourselves. Every day in Orange County, five women are diagnosed with breast cancer and one woman dies from the disease. Unfortunately, the breast cancer incidence rate in the County is higher than the rest of California and the nation.
As the region’s only academic medical center, UCI is leading the way in offering the most advanced treatments, innovative therapies and industry leading research available. But more needs to be done.
It takes all of us working together to create a cancer free future. Join the Breast Friends team in the fight against breast cancer on Saturday, June 6 at Aldrich Park on the UCI campus. People of all ages, skills, and abilities will rally around one vision: a world without cancer.
Join our team as a rider, runner, walker, volunteer or even as a virtual participant.
Make a donation to one of our team members and help us reach our team fundraising goal. 100 percent of Anti-Cancer Challenge proceeds go directly to lifesaving cancer research at the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
