Welcome to My Personal Page
As one of the thousands of cancer survivors, I am so appreciative of the efforts by everyone in the world who have joined together to find treatments and cures for this awful disease.
As a retiree of UCI, I am very pleased to see UCI’s efforts and I am proud to assist in their hard work to eradicate cancer. I signed up to ride in the 4th Annual Anti-Cancer Challenge because I believe together we can create a cancer free world for our family, friends and neighbors. I am also fortunate to be involved as a volunteer with the Anti-Cancer Challenge planning committee and I was so glad to hear that 100% of every dollar raised will go directly to lifesaving cancer research at the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The past three years, I joined hundreds of other cyclists to raise funds to help find a cure. This year, I am taking on a different challenge. Instead of joining everyone on June 6 for a 100 mile ride in Orange County, I will be on a six day, 382 mile ride from Crescent City to San Francisco and dedicating my journey to raising funds for the Anti-Cancer Challenge.
If you are interested in joining me and raising money to find a cure for cancer, please register to either participate in the ride, run, or walk on June 6 at the UCI campus.
If you’re not able to participate, hopefully you can join me in the Anti-Cancer movement by making a donation to help me meet my fundraising goal. If you are interested learning more, please let me know or check out the website at Anti-CancerChallenge.org.
I truly appreciate your well wishes and support!
