100% of your contribution funds pilot projects and early phase clinical trials. This allows researchers to produce critical preliminary data that justifies continued investigation of their innovative concepts.
Since 2017, the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge has collectively raised over $3.7 million to support a remarkable 100 diverse projects. In addition, $33.3 million in extramural funding from government agencies and private foundations has been awarded to UC Irvine researchers for grants that stemmed from UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge pilot projects, a testament to the potential of the research to produce important outcomes.
