Our team is coming together during the 10-year anniversary of the UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge to support patients, survivors, families and researchers. By joining or supporting our team, you’re helping fund critical cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and CHOC, part of Rady Children’s Health.

As a team member, your personal fundraising will contribute to our team’s overall goal, amplifying our impact. The more each of us raises on our own pages, the more our team can do together.

Make a difference by joining our team to ride, run or walk on event day, and by asking friends and family to support your fundraiser. If you’re not able to participate, please consider donating to our team. Every action and every dollar counts in the fight against cancer.

Join us at the Community Training Ride, Run and Walk on Saturday, July 18 at 8 a.m. at the UC Irvine Susan & Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences. Together, you and your guests will enjoy light refreshments, exciting giveaways and a fun Polaroid photo station to capture memories from the morning. Thanks to longtime community partner, A Snail's Pace Running Shop, all attendees will be entered in a drawing for a $50 A Snail's Pace gift card. ACTIVITIES: 15-mile street bike ride – UC Irvine to Newport Back Bay and return. 1-mile run/walk OR 3-mile run/walk – UC Irvine campus and return. You'll also hear how your support makes a difference! Speaker Carolina Villanueva, MPH, PhD, will introduce her newly funded project investigating how PFAS 'forever chemicals' in drinking water affect ovarian cancer survival and treatment.
