Fundraising FAQs

Every registered participant has access to a personal fundraising page; we call this a Participant Center/Fundraising Dashboard.

Here, you can manage your personal web page and fundraising activity, view donation progress, add a photo or video to your fundraising page and send emails asking for donations and thanking donors.

You can share your personal web page with friends and family by simply clicking on a link in an email, text, or Facebook post. This page is a way to share with others why you are participating in the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge. It makes it easy for people to donate.
A fundraising goal is the amount a participant hopes to raise. If the participant does not raise the amount, they are not charged for the outstanding amount. We encourage participants to set a high goal, as people are more likely to donate when they believe the participant has a difficult goal to reach.
After registering, every participant has access to a personal fundraising page; we call this the Participant Center/Fundraising Dashboard. This includes tools and templates to make your fundraising easy.

In addition, you can visit the visit the Tools and Resources page where you can access shareable graphics and pdfs on topics such as how to expand your network and fundraising ideas.

You can also download the free UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge mobile app on your iPhone or Android device to help you fundraise on the go. This app comes with sample texts and email templates. It also gives you the ability to accept donations from the palm of your hand.
