I’m participating in the UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge during its 10-year anniversary to help fund lifesaving cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our lives have all been impacted by this devastating condition whether a family member, friend, co-worker, or our own self. There's still so much to learn about it.

For a decade, this community has helped launch innovative pilot projects and early phase clinical trials that can lead to new advances in cancer prevention, treatment and cures and our support keeps that momentum going.

I will be cycling the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge event on October 10th with Team UCI Retirees & Friends! This cause is a personal thank you from me, and certainly, the challenge I enjoy to be back on the saddle (cycle) again in a more meaningful way.
