Dear Friends and Family,

Over the past year, several people close to me have been affected by cancer. Joining this fundraising event is one way I feel I am supporting them on their journey.

On Oct. 11th The UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge will be held at the campus in Irvine. Participants will either run/walk a 5K, bike anywhere from 14 to 100 miles, or mountain bike. I plan to participate in the 5K virtually from here in Flagstaff. After having two hip replacements this summer, this will be a personal challenge for me as well.

I am committed to making an impact in the fight against cancer. Every donation made through this page, no matter how small, supports critical research projects essential for advancing cancer prevention, treatments and cures.
