In honor of one of my closest friends, my "bestie", Jonari, who heartbreakingly lost his battle to cancer this year in July 2026. Jonari was truly always a light in everyone's lives and was always there to lend a helping hand to others. A few years ago, Jonari found a passion for running. With his newfound passion at the time along with his aim to always help others, he was able to complete the 2024 LA Marathon and raise money for cancer research. This year our friend group and I will aim to do the same in his honor.
