Greetings! I’ve signed up for this charity fundraiser for the Cancer Center at the University of California Irvine for a fifth consecutive year. We’ve reached the level of VIP fundraiser each year, and this year we’ll surpass $10,000 raised cumulatively over the 5 years.

The fellow in the left picture is my father, Alan Fulcher. (The other fellow you already know.) Before passing away at age 40 from melanoma, Alan had at various times lived in the Phoenix area – where I live – and worked in the L.A. area – where this fundraiser lives. So participating in this event feels like sort of a cosmic connect-the-dots for me. And, if our Indiana Hoosiers can deliver a perfect season and a national championship, ANYTHING - even defeating cancer - seems possible!
