We all know people in our lives who have been affected by cancer. Whether it is a family member, friend or loved one, the effects of cancer can put you through a range of emotions of what can I do to help? How can I help to make this person going through this process feel supported, embraced and loved during their cancer experience?

One way is to give back.

I am so excited to participate in this event to support UCI’s Cancer program as it is dear to my heart with my beautiful Tracy going through her journey. Her doctors, Dr. Zell, Dr. Carmicheal, surgeons Dr. Mahtabifard and Dr. Jutric have been an integral part of her treatment. She has been so brave to endure the treatments, needle sticks, and side effects of medications. The nurses, staff, radiology, lab techs and even down to the valet person who greets her, have touched her heart along the way and this is what makes UCI truly special.
