Each year, my family and I join the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge 5K to walk with purpose, hope, and remembrance. For us, this cause is deeply personal. Like so many families, we’ve lost loved ones to cancer and watched friends and relatives endure the difficult fight. Walking together has become our way of honoring those we’ve lost, supporting those still battling, and pushing forward toward a world without cancer.
