The Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center based in Orange County. Our Center serves our residents by offering cutting-edge cancer care by nationally known experts, including OC's only adult hematopoietic stem cell transplant program, access to the largest portfolio of cancer clinical trials, and alleviating the burden of cancer in our region through a partnership with CalOptima to increase cancer screening and prevention.

100% of the funds raised by the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge go to support lifesaving cancer research at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and our pediatric cancer partner, CHOC Children's Hospital.
