Just two days before her high school graduation, we received news no parent ever wants to hear—our daughter, Hailey, had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Our summer plans, once filled with excitement as we prepared for her semester abroad in Italy and her upcoming start at the University of Tennessee in the spring, suddenly shifted. Instead, our focus turned to chemotherapy treatments, postponing Italy, delaying her start at UTK, and transitioning to online classes so Hailey could continue moving toward her dreams.
But through it all, Hailey has shown incredible strength. Backed by a positive prognosis, a dedicated team of doctors and specialists at UCI, and most of all—her unwavering positive attitude—we are moving forward with hope. Our goal is now set on seeing Hailey healthy and strong, walking onto the UTK campus in the fall of 2026!
We are truly blessed to be surrounded by a community that has shown us overwhelming support, love, and encouragement during this time. Inspired by that support, we want to give back and help other families who may face this same journey.
