The first ever UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge Kickoff took place on Thursday, May 30 to celebrate the launch of the 2024 campaign and unveil the innovative cancer-projects made possible by supporters like you.
During the event, attendees heard from UCI Health physicians including: Dr. Richard Van Etten, director of the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Farshid Dayyani, medical director for the Stern Center for Cancer Clinical Trials & Research and Dr. Maheswari Senthil, chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology. Attendees also had the opportunity to connect with past funded UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge researchers to hear about the latest updates of their work.
