Our team is called Steppin' In To Stomp It Out because it has been a journey! My relationship with cancer began in 2012 with a successful battle with breast cancer. Eight years later in December 2000, I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. We thought we had it beat, but it came back in 2022, 2024, and 2025. I am still battling, and my team of doctors (led by Dr. Jason Zell) fight back with new treatments every time the monster appears. Medically speaking, I am extremely grateful for the innovations in testing, detection, and treatment that have continue to give me hope. My sanity and mental strength come from my personal connections with family, friends, and the AA community. One day at a time, I walk with you all by my side - thank you all for holding me up and keeping me strong. Now, my goal is to help out by doing something to contribute to the future war against cancer. I have and continue to benefit from the generosity and ingenuity of others, and I am hoping you will join me in the battle by contributing. All donations are welcome - whether through a monetary donation or a boost of encouragement, ALL support is cherished and appreciated. I am consistently humbled by my picket fence and the power you all emit - I am me because of you :-)
