Once again, it is our turn to stand up in the fight against cancer and give what we can to research. The best thing about the UCI Health Anti-Cancer Challenge is that 100% of funds raised go to research - and not many organizations can say that. In addition, every dollar we raise is leveraged to bring in more dollars from corporations and organizations funding cancer research.
So please, on behalf of those who are currently fighting, who have lost the fight, and who have battled and won, give what you can. Let's make our team of Wild Heart, Gypsy Soul, named in honor my cousin, Peggy Schmidt, who lost her battle in September 2020 against incurable triple negative breast cancer, a force to be reckoned with in this fight of a lifetime.
