My name is Gerardo Diaz, and on October 10th, I plan to take on the 100 kilometers bike course to honor those whose lives have been affected by cancer. I’m proud to represent both UCI PD and CHOC.

I am participating in the UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge during its 10-year anniversary to help fund lifesaving cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and CHOC, part of Rady Children’s Health.

For a decade, this community has helped launch innovative pilot projects and early phase clinical trials that can lead to new advances in cancer prevention, treatment and cures and your support keeps that momentum going.
