We’d like to gather a departmental team to participate in this UCI fundraising event! Join Team CBE at the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge on Saturday, October 10, 2026!

Our goal is to raise at least $2,500, and we need your support to get there! All CBE staff, faculty, graduate students, family, and friends are invited to join our team.

Event Details: Saturday, October 10, 2026
• Format: 5K run or 5K walk (family-, kid-, and stroller-friendly)
• Can't make it in person? Participate virtually as a runner or walker from anywhere.

• Minimum Fundraising Commitment: Children - $25; Adults - $50; VIP - $500

This community-driven event raises awareness and funds for critical cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and CHOC, part of Rady Children’s Health. Every participant-raised dollar directly funds pilot studies and early-phase clinical trials that aim to develop new insights into cancer prevention, treatment, and cures.
